This Is Why We Celebrate International Au Pair Day:

 

 

International Au Pair Day – it sounds fancy, right!? 

 

Oh YES!

 

But what is the fuss REALLY about?

 

It’s a day dedicated to celebrating the warriors who are making a massive contribution to cultural exchange around the world!

 

 

Why celebrate International Au Pair Day on 24 November?

For the first time on this date, an official set of rules and regulations were defined and established in many European countries.

 

This European agreement served as the basis to define the Au Pair´s and host family’s duties and rights.

 

International Au Pair Day was launched on 24 November 2019.

 

This date marked the 50th Anniversary of the release of the “European Agreement on Au Pair placements” by the Council of Europe in 1969.

 

How reassuring is it to know that you are participating in a regulated & safe program? 

 

To celebrate International Au Pair Day this year, we asked host families to record a video dedicated to their CAP Au Pair.

    Proud to say that I know Leanka from South Africa personally. Her hosts are featuring in the video. Leanka is a real gem and a true ambassador for aupairs from South Africa. Well done Leanka !
